1. Install Quake3arena
   1. Windows: q3pointrelease_132.exe
   2. Linux: linuxq3apoint-1.32b.x86.run
2. Grab all the latest q3 media files and extract the *.pk3 files to your baseq3 directory.
   1. OSP game client and maps
   2. 3wave maps
   3. Alliance CTF
   4. Chicken CTF maps
   5. Unofficial Map Pak (UMP)
   6. Kal.cfg
3. Open quake3 and pull down the console by pressing the tilde (~) button
4. Type the following into the q3 console
   1. \rate 25000
   2. \snaps 40
   3. \cl_maxpackets 125
   4. \com_maxfps 125
   5. \com_hunkMegs 128
   6. \cl_timeNudge -20 (Set this if you experience lag during gameplay)
   7. \cg_drawTeamOverlay 1
   8. \cg_fov 110
   9. \cg_noProjectileTrail 1
   10. \cg_enemyModel "tankjr/pm"
   11. \cg_enemyColors "iiii"
   12. \cg_trueLightning 1
5. Restart quake3
